I would like to thank the members of Physicsforums for helping to refine my thoughts on this topic and for help with some tricky mathematical problems. Some members that come readily to mind as having been especially helpful and knowledgeable are George Jones, HallsofIvy, pervect, DrGreg, Lut Mentz and DaleSpam. I should point out that none of these members were directly aware of ‘my agenda’ as it is against the rules of the forum to discuss physics that is not in line with accepted mainstream theory as published in textbooks and recognised journals. They simply answered hypothetical questions that were presented without context.

My discussions with mathtalk here and here provided some insights and created an indirect conduit to Kevin Brown of mathpages as K.Brown was obviously updating his mathpages website in response to our discussions and adding additional detail to the steps of his derivations that has proved invaluable in my understanding.

Mathpages

This project is heavily indebted to the derivations of equations of motion by Kevin Brown in his excellent mathpages website and in particular to the derivations given here and here. Although most of the equations used here are based on those produced by Kevin Brown, he has not realised the physical implications of his own equations. Unfortunately one equation had to be altered because it is mathematically incorrect and the equation given in mathpages appears to have had an ad-hoc modification to make the maths agree with the expected classical physical interpretation. See the details of the error here. This is unfortunate because the interpretation should be modified to agree with the maths rather than modify the maths in non mathematical way to agree with what you think should be predicted. In some ways Kevin Brown is excused, because it hard for anyone in academia to go against the conclusions of some of the greatest minds that have investigated the physics of black holes over the past 83 years.

A special thanks to the anonymous authors of Wikipedia articles such as this article on Kruskal_Szekeres coordinates that give their time and share their knowledge with the public for little or no reward.
